How many years have you been in business in NYC?
I have been with M’O for almost three years. Previous to that, I owned women’s and kid’s clothing stores and independently worked as a Personal Shopper.
How did you get your start and what was your initial inspiration?
I was always interested in clothing at a young age – I remember designing and making clothing for my dolls from the age of five. My initial inspiration comes from my mother and father – they both had a distinct individual style which reflects my aesthetic now - understated luxe staples mixed with amazing statement pieces.
What do you feel differentiates you from others in your field?
My personal experience sets me apart from others in my field. My work ethic and understanding of the luxury market sets me apart.
What do you feel gives you longevity in this big city with so many options?
In addition to great product on our site, I know I’m able to offer my clients the most personalized luxury service. I think of everything the client may need so it’s an easy, seamless and stress-free process for them.
How do you positively impact your clientele?
I always give my honest opinion and really care that my clients are happy and feel beautiful.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I love the people I meet and work with and have had so many amazing experiences traveling abroad and meeting with clients all over the world.
What is your favorite secret NYC spot?
Alfresco dining when it starts to get warm in the city!
How do you benefit mamas?
We help to make mamas look and feel great while making their busy lives easier. Everyone is busy, especially those with kids - a few special services include complimentary fittings and tailoring, same day delivery, and styling head to toe looks for any occasion.
What is the most memorable feedback a client has given you?
I dressed a bride head to toe – from the Hen Party to the farewell Brunch to send off the new couple. The bride told me that working together was one of the favorite part of her entire wedding experience.
What is the best advice anyone's ever given you? Or what is your "mantra" / words to live by?
Follow your own instincts because you’re not going to please everyone.
As moms, the day can escape us, what is your best time-saving trick?
Keep your closet stocked with timeless classics - it’ll be a breeze to get dressed in the morning. Pair with a statement jacket or great shoes / accessories and you instantly look put together without having to think about it!
