How many years have you been in business in NYC?
How did you get your start and what was your initial inspiration?
I was a creative director for an Advertising Agency called Dune Road Group where I styled all shoots myself, mostly interior shoots, and I loved it. Also, my family is all architects so I grew up in a strong Scandinavian architect and design family. My grandmother was a big architect and she’s my inspiration.
What do you feel differentiates you from others in your field?
I have been around architects since I was born so I have an eye for design. It feels very natural to me. My Scandinavian style is timeless.
What do you feel gives you longevity in this big city with so many options?
The city has so much energy. The more I grow as a person, the more the city has to offer. There is no end to how far you can take your dreams.
How do you positively impact your clientele?
I give them all of me. It’s not just furniture, it’s a lifestyle, a way of living.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Seeing my design boards turn into reality.
What is your favorite secret NYC spot?
The Carlyle Hotel lounge. Once a month, Woody Allen has his band playing there, it’s amazing.
How do you benefit mamas?
I can relate to other moms as I have a 9-year-old daughter. My houses are designed to be chic and child friendly.
What is the most memorable feedback a client has given you?
A newly divorced man said I “saved his life” after I decorated his new house.

What is the best advice anyone's ever given you? Or what is your "mantra" / words to live by?
“At any means necessary.”
As moms, the day can escape us, what is your best time-saving trick?
I am trying to make my job fun, so when my daughter is around I include her in my work life, that way I save time and she loves it.
