How many years have you been in business in LA?
Since 2002
How did you get your start and what was your initial inspiration?
I went to school at Vidal Sassoon, then started assisting a few freelance hairstylists who inspired to me to do both freelance and salon work.
What do you feel differentiates you from others in your field?
What differentiates me is that I tend to not follow trends… I try and keep my work chic and classic.
How do you positively impact your clientele?
I always try and make my clients feel good when they leave.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is meeting so many wonderful clients. When I do freelance, my favorite part is seeing the finished product with hair, makeup, and wardrobe. In the salon, I sometimes don’t get to see the finished product.
What is your favorite secret LA spot?
I don’t know if it’s a secret spot anymore but I love Sushi Park. Great sushi place in a shopping center.
How do you benefit mamas?
My bd’s are pretty fast so moms can come in and out pretty quickly.
What is the most memorable feedback a client has given you?
A client of mine was going through a divorce and feeling pretty bad about herself. She told me that I made her feel pretty again.

I’ve been a hairstylist for many years now so I know many wonderful stylists and colorists. Just to name a few, Justin Anderson (colorist) and Lien Scherr (colorist), both at Chris Mcmillan Salon, Shah Karegar at Benjamin Salon, and Marilee Albin at Mare salon (Stylist).
